Ambassadors Round Table: War and Economy - Impacts of increased defence-spending

War and extreme weather can slow green transition when authorities divert funds for rearmament or to repair damaged infrastructure. But they can also increase investment in domestic renewables, drive innovation and policy reform. The pace of green transition depends on governments, business and citizens partnering to accelerate transformative change. Norway’s Defence Minister Tore O. Sandvik and State Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andreas Motzfeldt Kravik present keynotes and Ambassadors outline the strategic decisions their countries are taking, while addressing defense and energy security priorities.
