Klimarettsaker og opinionen
Klimarettsaker har de siste årene vist seg å være et kraftig instrument for å fremme klimabevissthet og -handling. Dette arrangementet ønsker å undersøke hvordan juridiske strategier kan påvirke klimabevisstheten hos folk flest og mobilisere til samfunnsendring.

Deltakerne vil se på hva som kan brukes som bevis i klimarettssaker, om det finnes alternative metoder for å dokumentere bevis, hvordan frivillige organisasjoner initierer klimasaker, hvordan klimarettsaker påvirker jus og politikk og hvordan denne utviklingen former offentlig bevissthet og mediefortellinger.

Ved å koble disse perspektivene fra forskning, jus, media og politikk vil møtet vise i hvilken grad rettssaker kan fungere som en pådriver for klimabevissthet og kollektiv handling.

Innleggene vil holdes på engelsk.

Climate litigation and public opinion

Climate litigation has proven to be a powerful tool for promoting climate awareness and action in recent years. This event aims to examine how legal strategies can influence climate awareness among the general public and mobilize for social change.

Participants will look at what can be used as evidence in climate litigation, whether there are alternative methods for documenting evidence, how NGOs initiate climate litigation, how climate litigation affects law and policy, and how these developments shape public awareness and media narratives.

By connecting these perspectives from research, law, media, and policy, the meeting will show the extent to which litigation can act as a driver for climate awareness and collective action.

The presentations will be given in English.
