Politisk bombe! / Political bomb!

Kanalplass-scenen (Kanalplassen)
What happens when young people and politicians meet in the same game show? Political Bomb is an engaging show created by young people from Norway and Iceland, where teams made up of youth and politicians or decision-makers take part in challenges, competitions, and conversations about issues that matter to young people. Through teamwork, participation, and a bit of competition, the show explores youth participation and collaboration in a different and more playful format.
The audience is invited into the action throughout the show, where unexpected moments, humor, and interaction are all part of the experience. Political Bomb aims to create a new kind of meeting place during Arendalsuka, where young people’s perspectives are given space and where politics and entertainment come together on the same stage.
Since autumn 2024, Arendal Municipality has been part of an Erasmus+ collaboration together with the municipalities of Vefsn, Brønnøy, Trondheim, and Reykjavík. The organizations Ungdom og Fritid and Samfes are also a partner in the project.
The Erasmus+ project MoRe focuses on youth participation and cooperation between youth clubs, youth councils, and decision-makers. As demographic changes continue to shift more public resources toward an aging population, it becomes increasingly important to ensure that young people are heard and involved in decisions that affect their lives and future. Through collaboration across municipalities and countries, the project aims to strengthen young people’s opportunities to participate, influence, and engage in democratic processes.
